18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382-18) 3-day Course
Aim
To deliver competence-based training and assessment that will lead to the award of the City & Guilds 2382-18 certificate for the IET Wiring BS7671:2018 Regulations for Electrical Installations.
Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites however, an electrical backgroud would be advantageous as the course is aimed at those involved with the design, installation or testing of electrical installations.
Course Duration
The course is of three days in duration
Optimum Number
Maximum of 8 delegates per course.
Course Language
The course is delivered in English, therefore candidates must have a good standard of both written and verbal English.
Courses can be delivered in other languages, however, this would need to be discussed prior to acceptance on the course. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to make Roxby aware of this requirement.
Training Aids
PowerPoint Presentation, information hand-outs, practice questions & use of textbook.
Assessment
On the final afternoon of the course, candidates undertake a City & Guilds online examination, multichoice format of 60 questions in 2 hours. The exam is 'open-book' in that candidates are required to use the current IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations book for the duration of the exam.
Course Objectives
The course will allow candidates to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of BS 7671:2018.
Upon successful completion of the exam, candidates will be issued with a nationally recognised City & Guilds Level 3 certificate for 2382-18 Edition IET Wiring Regulations for BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations
