18th Edition IET Wiring Regs Exam Only

Course Content

An assessment only route, that will lead to the City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (2382-22). This qualification includes Amendment 2, which was introduced in March 2022.

Pre-requisites

This assessment is primarily for those candidates who have already completed the City & Guilds 18^th Edition course 2382-18 (prior to the new Amendment 2) and who are utilising the regulations on a regular basis.

For candidates who have completed the 17^th Edition award only (C&G 2382-15) – or earlier editions – it is recommended to undertake our 3-day training course.

Course Duration

The assessment is 2 hours in duration.

Optimum Number

Maximum of 10 candidates per assessment date.

Course Language

The assessment is delivered in English, therefore candidates must have a good standard of both written and verbal English. Courses can be delivered in other languages however, this would need to be discussed prior to acceptance on the course. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to make Roxby aware of this requirement.

Course Objectives

Candidates will undertake a City & Guilds online examination, multiple choice format of 60 questions in 2 hours. The exam is ‘open-book’ in that candidates are required to use the current IET 18^th Edition Wiring Regulations book for the duration of the exam.

Upon successful completion of the online exam, candidates will be issued with a nationally recognized City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (2382-22).  This includes the Amendment 2 which was introduced in March 2022.

Attendees are recommended to revise prior to the course using the latest IET 18^th Wiring Regulations (Brown) book.
