Course Content

Aim

To deliver competence-based training and assessments that will lead to a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) 2377-77.

Pre-requisites

Personnel with adequate knowledge and practical experience of electricity and its dangers who can work safely.

Course Duration

The course is of 1 day in duration.

Optimum Number

Maximum of 6 delegates per course.

Course Language

The course is delivered in English. Therefore candidates must have good standards of both written and verbal English.

Courses can be delivered in other languages however, this would need to be discussed prior to acceptance on the course. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to make Roxby aware of this requirement.

Training Aids

PowerPoint, information hand-outs, practical exercises.

Course Objectives

The course will confirm the understanding of the delegates in the testing of portable appliances and the current regulations relating to such activities.

Course Examination

The examination consists of an online multi-choice test conducted in centre. There will also be a short practical assessment moderated by the course assessor.
