Stockton-on-Tees & The Tees Valley Area

Location

Grimsby & Cleethorpes

Location

Cleethorpes is a thriving seaside resort located on the Lincolnshire coast. With beautiful golden sands and high standards of water cleanliness, Cleethorpes is physically linked to the neighbouring town of Grimsby. Between the two towns is the village of Old Clee and Weelsby.

History

Cleethorpes is now part of North East Lincolnshire district; however, the town was originally made up of 3 places – Oole or Hole, Thrunscoe and Itterby.

Grimsby is the neighbouring town to Cleethorpes and historically renowned for its fishing heritage. It has, more recently, been evolved into a town of industry with focus on renewable energy, chemical and process industries.
